Dr. Emily Studebaker

Dr. Emily Studebaker is a therapeutic optometrist passionate about providing exceptional eye care and making meaningful connections with people from all walks of life.
Dr. Studebaker is an Austin native and grew up in the neighboring city of Georgetown. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas A&M University, where she discovered her passion for optometry and learned how the eyes reflect the health of the entire body. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received clinical honors. Following optometry school, she completed a primary care/ocular disease residency at the St. Louis Veterans Affairs Hospital. The residency included further training in low vision rehabilitation and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Studebaker has presented research and clinical work at national conferences and is currently pursuing her fellowship (FAAO).
In her free time, Dr. Studebaker enjoys trying new restaurants, being outdoors with her husband and their dog, and absolutely loves living in the Live Music Capital! Dr. Studebaker is thrilled to return to her hometown roots and give back to the community that supported her throughout her journey!
