Dr. Divya Pillai

Dr. Divya Pillai is a board certified therapeutic optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma specialist. She was born and raised outside the Twin Cities in Minnesota. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL, where she also received clinical honors and Dean’s List. She served as a board member on the Neuro-Optometric rehabilitation association and Student of Illinois optometric association for part of her time during school. In addition, she also was involved in limbal stem cell research throughout her undergraduate career and optometry school.

After receiving her doctorate, she completed an ocular disease/primary care residency at the VA Boston Healthcare System in Brockton, MA where her interest grew in treating and managing many ocular conditions. Her interests include comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.

She is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Texas Optometric Association (TOA) and received her fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry in 2024.  She has presented case reports/research at national conferences. She is passionate about providing thorough eye care and education to all her patients and loved ones. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
